With all the images being presented to us and the suggestion that the government or "whoever" hides certain images from the public, I was wondering what would happen if the authors we're reading about got their wish. Imagine if we had full disclosure about everything. Every little dirty deed was public knowledge. Nothing would be hidden, good or bad. Would the government still be able to operate? Would torture stop? Or would the government just have to stop pretending to be ashamed about it? What about society? Both in the US and society in general? Can we function without lies, embellishments and hiding the truth?

Excellent question, Christian. I feel like we must ask ourselves what it means exactly to be an American to answer this question. We know ourselves to hold a very specific ideology and that we hold it above others'. We still have traces of "manifest destiny" within us and the desire to conquer whatever we can. Therefore, I can only image our government fighting against a free-for-all when it comes to accessing information. We already have the Freedom of Information Act, which any person can access DOJ records and other branches through a FORMAL request. Some info may not be granted due to whatever reason the gov. deems it necessary. I can only believe that the government would extend this strategy to a larger means of accessing info.
ReplyDeleteYour last question is a big one. Using my own limited thoughts for reasoning, I can only image two possibilities for society in this "other" world: a jaded one or one that jumps ship to another country which continues to deceive, inveigle, and obfuscate.

The Government only lies up to par with the stupidity of its followers...if people think some box-cutter cave men high jacked jumbo jets and made fake videos of them hitting the Twin Towers even though currently we can shoot down MISSILES/ROCKETS (traveling at the speed of a bullet from a rifle) with high frequency laser/plasma concentrated beams from 100km away with micro precision accuracy(meaning to the micrometer)...Boeing's latest creation, look it up...then who do you blame...the liar or the believers?
Here's what I say..."If there's a problem and the government tells you to look here...that's where you WON'T find the solution..."
Think about it...was Bin Laden the sole perpetrator of 911? Is the Patriot Act really Patriotic? Is it really impossible to withdrawal from Iraq? Did we really land on the Moon? Does voting change anything? Then why did you all vote for Bush again...oh after his father, coincidence...or pre-appointed leadership, hmm? Believer in the voting system, okay, prove to me that they count the votes, and when I vote I want to see the stats go up one point...oh, you can't, it's private...then how do they send you a 1040 tax form every year to every working person stating every penny they earned that year? Honestly, voting is just a way for the Government to make you, the citizen feel responsible for the outlandish BS(BushShit) because "you voted for the guy..." then why couldn't any of the impeachment efforts get him out...if he was stupid...you fire him...Bill Clinton got fired for personal issues that should even be made public..."you can't impeach a president that was never elected..." RANT RANT RANT...
SUMMERY: If it's the Government who is committing the Treason/Conspiracies/Killing/War Efforts...THEN DON'T USE ANY...ANY...SOLUTION METHODS PRESCRIBED BY THEM...you don't ask the guilty murderer, "Who Killed the Victim and where can we find him?" and rely on their response...Obviously the government cannot be trusted right now, so don't EMAIL the Secretary of Defense with your complaints or make sure to vote for the good president this time...the last truly elected president acted against the grain...and suffered one or two shots straight to the brain...now go vote...make a difference, follow their guidelines on how to beat them...Obama, he sure saved the day...at least he's cool and smart...but is aware of what happened to JFK, and he values his life...

The only reason we're suffering is because we're following their plan...go out and make your vote count...wait, count the votes? Don't count on voting...don't be so dumb as to follow Satan's advice on how to get to heaven...cuz you never quite get there and in fact you end up stuck in hell...I'm not religious, but good comparison...

As an Engineer, when asked to design a project, we're never told what to do, we have to engineer the final product and it has to work, we have to make "what to do"...then later on, that is "what you need to do" once we have designed the working project...
One thing that has worked regarding the declassification of the Nikoli Tesla research files that were confiscated by the FBI after 30 years was NOT to keep asking the FBI for the documentations under the Freedumb of Information Act(Act just like Arnold Acted as Terminator, but he's not a robot, he still is to me...)...because they, for 30 years, denied having any such files...what worked was that the person who got tired of trying to release the files based the "Government Controlled Freedom of Information Act" (AKA The government is free to declassify files to the public to give the public a sense of comfort and nullify disdained feelings of government secrecy, come on, it's like voting, if they don't want you to know, you wont know, this is just a ploy to get you to stop bitching at them designed by "them")
Anyways, what the man did, I love this guy, is he contacted the CIA, and told them that the Russians also had access to these files and are advancing in the fields of free energy and the Tesla Beam (Plasma) etc. and that this man was a colleague of Tesla and all that the FBI is doing by withholding these files is STUNTING U.S. RESEARCH AND ADVANCEMENTS IN THESE FIELDS GIVING THE RUSSIANS, WHO ARE "IN FULL STRIDE" A HEAD START AND SINCE THE FBI DOESN'T KNOW WHAT THESE FILES MEAN, THEY AREN'T SCIENTISTS/ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS/GENIUSES...THEY ARE JUST MAKING SURE THE RUSSIANS WILL DOMINATE THE U.S.WITH THESE TECHNOLOGIES, SO IF THESE FILES WERE PUT BACK IN THE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH REALM, THE U.S. CAN CATCH UP, ALTHOUGH THEY HAVE MUCH WORK TO DO AND VERY LITTLE TIME...
Guess what happened...
The VERY NEXT DAY...THE SAME DIRECTOR OF THE FBI CONTACTED THIS MAN, AND SAID THEY DID AN INVENTORY OF THE FILES ON THEIR RECORD AND THAT THEY JUST SO HAPPEN TO HAVE THESE FILES AND THIS MAN CAN COME IN AND VIEW THESE FILES, because he was a scientist, AND HE EVEN APOLOGIZED...
Use the CIA against the FBI under the Russian Advancements Paranoia...
THAT'S HOW YOU DO IT...for that application...
It doesn't say anywhere to do this, voting wont do this, contacting your senator wont do this...THIS DID THIS...HE DID IT, 30 YEARS...AND HE GOT THE TESLA FILES...
P.S. I have the 394 page PDF of every letter this man sent to the FBI, and every response he got back...it's a bit redundant, but shows how "their" methods are ineffective...I can/will email anyone these files if you want them...skim them, but read the last pages...the letter to the CIA, then read the FBI response after that...24 hour response...with the apology...

Ron Paul & Ralph Nader...the only two politicians I listen to...there are more, please help me expand the list...oh, I listen to Dick Cheney but only as the biggest piece of shit I've ever encountered and George W. for his Busisms..."Fool me once, shame on you...", "Sovernenitinty" etc. Both very appealing candidates, no wonder they won the "votes", nothing is more appealing than an IDIOT and DICK...come on people, stop listening to them.
